Ahn Se-young retakes world No. 1 by finishing second in the Danish Open.

Badminton Empress Ahn Se-young has regained her No. 1 spot in the world in two weeks.

Ahn scored 103,267 points in the Badminton World Federation Women's Singles Rankings, defeating Chen Yufei of China to return to No. 1 in the rankings.

Ahn earned ranking points by finishing runner-up at the Danish Open last week, but Chen Yu-fei did not participate.

Ahn Se-young, who first ranked No. 1 in August last year, continued to stay at the top and fell to second place after falling behind Chen Yu-pay on the 8th.
