[Busan] Busan Metropolitan Government's National Assembly Administration and Security Committee's 'Failure to Host the Expo' Workshop

During the parliamentary audit of the Busan Metropolitan Government by the National Assembly's Public Administration and Security Committee, opposition lawmakers focused on why the advertising budget executed in the process of attracting the expo was concentrated in Korea rather than in foreign countries.

In response, ruling party lawmakers argued that the Republic of Korea became one to host the Expo and that the "failure to attract" should not be brought into political strife.

Busan Mayor Park Hyung-joon said, "It was also important to increase the enthusiasm for domestic attraction, and Busan City worked hard to promote Korea by dividing its role with the government's bidding committee."
