The prosecution, which disposed of Kim Gun-hee without indictment, did not even attempt to search for Kim, sparking controversy.

Opposition lawmakers emphasized the need for a search and seizure of suspects, citing the investigation into the alleged misappropriation of corporate cards by Kim Hye-kyung, the wife of Lee Jae-myung, chairman of the Democratic Party of Korea.

However, according to the YTN report, it was confirmed that a search warrant for Kim's mobile phone or residence was never requested at the time of the investigation.

The search and seizure were conducted on restaurants using corporate cards or public institutions in charge, but there was no search and seizure of Kim himself.

The same goes for Lee Jae-myung, the leader of the Democratic Party of Korea.

It has been confirmed that a search warrant was requested only for the cell phones and residences of his aides instead of Lee at the time of the investigation into the alleged sponsorship of Daejang-dong Development Bank or Seongnam FC.

The prosecution's controversy over the search and seizure of "looking after" arose the same way during the investigation into the alleged family-in-law of the president of Yoon Suk Yeol last year, when Justice Minister Han Dong-hoon brought up CEO Lee's case and refuted it.
