Israeli military "hezbollah chief Nasrallah successor also confirmed dead"

Israeli forces say they have confirmed the death of Hashim Safiedin, who was widely considered to be the successor to Hezbollah leader Hassan Nasrallah, who was killed in an Israeli attack on July 31.

"Earlier this month, Hezbollah commanders, including Hezbollah Executive Chairman Hashim Safiedin, were confirmed to have been killed in an airstrike in southern Beirut," Israel's Defense Ministry said. "Safiedin is the successor of the dead Hezbollah leader Hasan Nasrallah."
