Former lawmaker Lee Sang-deuk, who served as deputy speaker of the National Assembly as the brother of former President Lee Myung Bak, has died at the age of 89.

Former Vice-Chairman Lee has been hospitalized at Seoul National University Hospital for a chronic disease.

The funeral home was set up at Asan Medical Center in Seoul.
