Terrorist Attacks on Turkiye Defense Industry Enterprises... "Incident of Eight"

Three people have been killed and five injured in a terrorist attack on a defense industry company outside Ankara, Turkiye's capital.

"Türkiye Aerospace Industries, TUSAS facilities in Ankara's Kahramankazan region have been terrorized," Turkiye's Interior Minister Ali Yerlikaya wrote on social media on Sunday.

"Three people were killed and five others were injured in the attack," Cahramankajan Mayor Selim Sirpanoglu told local media.

During the shift of security personnel, gunmen arrived at the entrance of the facility in a taxi, detonated a bomb, and went inside, local NTV said. "Shooting continues at the scene."

"Some of the personnel in the facility may be held hostage," he added.

Türkiye Aerospace Industries is the manufacturer of Turkiye's first home-grown fighter jet, KAAN.
