Russia has warned the South Korean government, which is considering responding to North Korea's dispatch, that it will "harshly respond to any measures that could threaten the security of the country and its people."

Russian Foreign Ministry spokesman Mariya Zakharova said at a briefing on the 23rd local time, adding, "The measures could be visible," adding, "I hope the South Korean authorities will judge carefully and with common sense."

He then stressed, "We need to think about the possible consequences for Korean security when Korea participates in the Ukraine conflict."

Zakharova dismissed reports of North Korea's dispatch, calling it "false, exaggerated information," and avoided answering, saying, "Ask Pyongyang about the location of the North Korean military."

At the same time, he noted that Ukraine has been asking South Korea for weapons of killing, and he said that military cooperation between Russia and North Korea does not cause any damage to South Korea.
