Medical Professors' Council "Reserve the decision to participate in the ruling-opposition council"

Amid talk that some doctors' groups may participate in the ruling-opposition parliamentary consultative body to resolve the parliamentary conflict, a medical professors' group has decided to postpone the decision to participate.

The National Council of Professors of College of Medicine held an emergency general meeting yesterday evening (23rd) and announced that it has decided to withhold its decision on participation as the composition and operation of the council have not yet been decided.

The professors' council agreed on the need for a consultative body to resolve medical manipulation and expressed respect for the decision of the Korean Medical Association and the Medical Association to participate in it.

However, a consultative body should be formed as a medical organization that can reflect the opinions of residents and students, and the government also insisted that people suitable for solving problems should participate, not those who triggered the medical crisis.
