The man was arrested by police after being overpowered by a citizen who witnessed the disturbance while passing by a convenience store.

At 5 a.m., a man stumbles into a convenience store in Gangnam, Seoul.

I take out soju and put it on the counter, and the clerk asks for ID and cleans the bottle.

Then, he brings out the soju again, and the clerk moves the bottle by waving his hands.

The man, who has been rejected one after another, staggers to the refrigerator and takes out a bottle of soju and hits it on the floor.

When a surprised clerk runs up, the man swings a broken bottle at the clerk.

He tries to resist by kicking, but the man keeps attacking the clerk's neck and face.

He continues the assault with the clerk trying to run away, and blood stains are clear on the floor.

At that moment, a citizen who was passing outside the convenience store jumps in and drags the man out.

Then, they lay them on the floor across the street.

The citizen suppressed the man who wielded the weapon for nearly five minutes until the police arrived from here.

[Witness] [Male] He screamed. I screamed a little...There was no resistance from below.

Soon after, a patrol car arrives, and the man is arrested by the police.

Police believe a man in his 20s, a Chinese national, committed the crime while intoxicated, and requested an arrest warrant on charges of special injury.

However, the court reportedly rejected the warrant, saying there was no fear of fleeing.

The clerk in his 60s underwent surgery for a serious facial injury, but it is not known to be life-threatening.

Continuing the investigation, the police are considering awarding a citation to citizens who helped the arrest.
