Ko Young-in, former member of the National Assembly, who is 'Scary' as Gyeonggi-do's deputy governor of the economy, has been appointed.

The Gyeonggi provincial government said it has appointed Ko Young-in, a former lawmaker, as the new deputy governor of the economy.Nominee


served as the standing vice chairman and floor leader of the Democratic Party of Korea's policy committee during the 21st National Assembly (Ansan Danwon Gap), and previously served as the Democratic Party leader of the Gyeonggi Provincial Assembly from 2010 to 2012.

Ko, who is classified as a non-Lee Jae-myung, ran for re-election in the 22nd general election but was eliminated from the party's primary.

Yoon Joon-ho, a former member of the National Assembly, was appointed as the senior secretary for political affairs.Nominee

Yoon served as the 20th member of the National Assembly in Haeundae-eul district in Busan.

They will be appointed early next month after consultation with the Ministry of Public Administration and Security.

Kim Bong-kyun, former chief of staff of the provincial assembly, and Sohn Joon-hyuk, former chief of protocol secretary of the Prime Minister's Office, were appointed as senior government officials and communication officials belonging to the deputy governor of the economy.
