[Seoul] Installation of 24-hour electrical abnormality detection sensors in dosshouses

As the danger of fire grows in dry weather, the Seoul Metropolitan Government will install more than 1,000 IoT sensors that detect electricity abnormalities 24 hours a day in a dosshouse.

City plans to test-install sensors in dosshouses in Donui-dong, Jongno-gu by December and expand them to other dosshouses depending on the operation results such as fire prevention effects.

When the sensor collects electrical information and detects signs of abnormalities such as progression, overcurrent, and overload, the integrated control system notifies residents of the dosshouse village and counseling centers of the warning.
