The Gwangjin Police Station in Seoul arrested a man in his 40s and a man in his 20s on charges of trying to find proceeds from voice phishing crimes in banks.

They are accused of extorting 28.5 million won from victims they contacted through Telegram and then trying to withdraw it from the bank.

In particular, A was found to have drugs in his bag and tested for simple reagents, and it was confirmed that he was positive.

The police plan to request an arrest warrant for A.
