said he would take necessary steps with the international community in accordance with the progress of Russia-North Korea military cooperation, leaving open the possibility of providing weapons of killing to Ukraine.

[Yoon Suk Yeol / President: We had the principle of not supplying weapons of killing directly, but we can review them more flexibly according to the activities of the North Korean military]

Although he condemned Russia-North Korea military cooperation in a phone call with NATO Secretary-General on the 21st, it is the first time that President Yoon condemned the dispatch of North Korean troops in public and announced a plan to consider providing weapons for killing.

On the day of the summit, it is interpreted as a response to North Korea raising the level of provocation by sending leaflets criticizing the president and his wife on balloons to the Yongsan government building.

At the Korea-Poland summit, defense cooperation will also continue, including the successful conclusion of the second K2 tank implementation contract worth about $7 billion within this year.

The presidential office said the summit has strengthened mutually beneficial defense partnerships and established consensus on the situation on the Korean Peninsula and Ukraine issues.
