Samsung Electronics' "New Low Price"...KOSPI closes lower

The KOSPI closed lower as Samsung Electronics, the top market cap, hit another new low.

Today (24th), the KOSPI closed at 2,581.03, down 0.72% from yesterday.

In particular, Samsung Electronics plunged more than 4% to 56,600 won as foreigners sold more than 600 billion won, rewriting its 52-week low.

SK hynix, the record-high performer, closed up 1.12 percent at 198,200 won.

KOSDAQ closed 1.42% lower at 734.59.

The local currency was trading at 1,380.2 won against the U.S. dollar as of 3:30 p.m., down 2 won from the greenback.
