Consumer Agency "28% month-on-month consultation on wedding services in September↑"

Consumer counseling related to wedding services increased last month from a month ago, the survey showed.


Last month, 250 consultations on wedding services were received by the Korea Consumer Agency, up 28% from a month ago, showing the highest growth rate.

Most of the consultations were that when the contract was terminated, the company demanded an excessive penalty.

The area where the number of consultations increased the most compared to a year ago was mutual aid services, which caused a lot of damage, such as delaying the payment of refunds or losing contact with companies when canceled in the middle.

The Korea Consumer Agency asked consumers who suffered damage to apply for counseling at the 1372 Consumer Counseling Center or Consumer24 with evidential documents.
