A new fire-fighting metropolitan base has been established to protect the lives and property of 5.6 million cities and residents in Chungcheong Province.

In the future, 20,000 professional firefighters will be produced annually, and training facilities will be built one after another to prepare countermeasures against electric vehicle fires.

The largest firefighting complex in the central region opened in Cheongyang, Chungcheongnam-do, and began full-scale operation.

Chungcheong Fire School, 119 Air Force, and Equipment Education Management Center were first established on the 388,000-square-meter site.

Chungcheong Fire School is an institution responsible for the education and training of firefighters in Chungnam, Buk, Daejeon, and Sejong, and moved from Cheonan after 31 years of opening.

In a pleasant environment, training facilities for each field such as fire, rescue, and first aid are available for systematic and high-quality education.

A multi-purpose fire helicopter that can also fly at night has also been deployed.

As the aviation team in Taean, Chungcheongnam-do, moved to Cheongyang, located in the center of the province, it became possible to respond more efficiently and quickly.

A new specialized institution has also been established to quickly inspect and repair various equipment such as fire trucks.

Within this year, the first eco-friendly vehicle fire suppression training facility in Asia will be established and operated.

Through this, we plan to prepare guidelines for each type of fire that is diversified day by day, such as electric vehicles.
