A woman's story has been told that she fractured her spine by throwing her into the sea because her boyfriend paid for it, and that she was even separated from her by diving.

According to JTBC's Case Team Leader on the 24th, the informant A traveled to a beach in Geoje, Gyeongsangnam-do with his boyfriend and a boyfriend couple in July last year.

At the time, A's boyfriend suggested betting to his friend, saying, "Let's bet on who throws his girlfriend better," and despite his refusal, he picked up A and threw him into the sea.In the accident of

, Mr. A fractured three vertebrae and suffered a serious injury of 14 weeks before treatment. He contacted his boyfriend because he needed a guardian to perform surgery, but he couldn't reach him, and eventually A reported to the police.

The boyfriend later stated in a police investigation that he "did not throw his girlfriend into the sea." The boyfriend's friend couple, who traveled together, also said, "I didn't see him throwing."

Because there was no evidence other than these statements, the police decided not to send them due to insufficient evidence. However, the investigation was re-investigated under the order of the prosecution's supplementary investigation, and the boyfriend was put on trial on charges of assault and injury.

The boyfriend in court said, "My girlfriend was drunk and my memory was distorted," adding, "There is no fact that I threw it to the sea." I don't remember because I'm drunk," he was quoted as claiming.

The first trial court sentenced the boyfriend to one year in prison and arrested him in court, saying, "Even though the victim was severely injured, he did not reflect on himself, but even criticized false statements after hanging up contact."

Currently, both A and her boyfriend have appealed the first trial ruling.

A said, "I have to live with a disability that I can't work because I can't sit for a long time because I'm seriously injured, and I can't run for the rest of my life," adding, "I have no intention of agreeing and I will fight until the end so that my ex-boyfriend will be punished for avoiding responsibility."
