The People's Power will hold a general meeting of lawmakers to deal with the appointment of a "special inspector" proposed by representative Han Dong-hoon to resolve the controversy over first lady Kim Gun-hee.

Amid the intensifying conflict between Han Dong-hoon and Choo Kyung-ho within the party and close-knit and friendly relations over the issue, whether or not to vote has now emerged as a concern.

I'll connect you to the National Assembly and find out more. Reporter Lee Junyeop!

Please tell us more about the conflict within the ruling party!

The People's Power Party's floor leadership plans to hold a general meeting of lawmakers as soon as possible to discuss when the parliamentary audit ends on the 1st of next month as the party's conflict intensifies over whether to recommend a special inspector.

Floor leader Choo Kyung-ho met with reporters after the parliamentary inspection meeting this morning, saying there is no need to predict how to proceed, such as whether to vote or approve it with applause, and that he will follow the will of the lawmakers.

However, when asked about the conflict with CEO Han Dong-hoon over the authority issue, he repeatedly declined to say, "No comment."

[Choo Kyung-ho / People's Power Floor Leader: I made it clear the day before yesterday about my role as floor leader.]

Rep. Kim Ki-hyun, classified as pro-Yoon-gye, emphasized on social media the position of the existing party, which has linked the candidate for special inspector and the recommendation of director of the North Korean Human Rights Foundation, and established that the internal struggle for supremacy is the act.

Lee Jae-myung of the Democratic Party of Korea, who is about to be sentenced to the first trial, pointed out that it is not normal for our party leader to be cheered on by the opposition leader.

Another member of the pro-Yoon-gye also stressed in a call with YTN that the party leader and floor leader should first resolve it through dialogue, criticizing why they want to show off their strength in the ruling party when there are only 108 members.

[Kim Jaewon / Supreme Council member of the People's Power (YTN Radio's "News Fighting Bae Seunghee")]: We're having a similar emotional fight. There is a fear that the conservative division will begin from the solitary confinement.

On the other hand, Han pointed out on social media that the appointment of a special inspector is still a valid presidential election pledge of our party, and that if anyone opposes the practice, they should explain reasonable reasons to the public.

Close aides also seem to be demanding a head-to-head confrontation, telling pro-Yoon-gye lawmakers to "come out" instead of hiding.

Han Chin-gye also expressed confidence in YTN, mentioning the party's opinion polls, which the party leader can send on important issues, as a "card of secrecy."

[Park Jung-hoon / Member of the People's Power (CBS Radio 'Kim Hyun-jung's News Show'): Chin-yoon's voice is not that loud right now. It's because there's not that much justification to stop this right now.]

In addition, the Democratic Party of Korea has repeatedly pressed Kim Gun-hee to pass the Special Prosecutor Act, saying that it is impossible to find out the essential facts by introducing a special inspector.

In particular, he pointed out that it is an ineffective argument, saying that President Yoon Suk Yeol could refuse to appoint a special inspector just as he delayed the appointment of a second-term prosecutor of the Senior Civil Servant Corruption Investigations Unit.

[Hwang Jung-ah / Minjoo Party spokesperson: Our party urges the ruling party to make a decision on the Special Counsel Kim Gun-hee Act, not the special inspector.]

A floor official told YTN that the world knows that President Yoon and Representative Han are already over, and the Democratic Party has nothing to open a gap, and is watching the internal conflict of the ruling party flowing from the river to the river.

The parliamentary audit is reaching a situation where the conflict between the ruling and opposition parties is demanding disciplinary action from each other?

[Reporter]
The Power of the Four People has announced its plan to file a complaint with the National Assembly Ethics Committee against Choi Min-hee, the head of the National Defense Agency.

It is said that yesterday's suspension of the right to speak of Choi Soo-jin, a member of the ruling party, for criticizing him and not apologizing in the over-defense constitutes an abuse of authority.

[Choi Hyung-doo / Secretariat of the National Assembly's over-defense ruling party, People's Power: No standing committee chairman has the authority to censor lawmakers' inquiries under any provisions of the National Assembly Act.]

On the other hand, the Democratic Party of Korea held a rally yesterday to denounce ruling party lawmaker Han Ki-ho's proposal to National Security Office chief Shin Won-sik to "bomb North Korean troops."

He lashed out at him as a "sociopath" who talks casually about what can bring the war to the Korean Peninsula, demanding that Han resign and Shin be dismissed.

[Park Chan-dae / Minjoo Party floor leader: Can we forgive that heinous idea of bringing war to the Korean Peninsula and threatening the lives and safety of the people?]

In the meantime, there is a high-pitched conflict until the end of the comprehensive audit, which is being conducted by seven standing committees, including the Public Administration and Security Committee.

In the comprehensive audit of the Legislation and Judiciary Committee, Chung Chung-rae, chairman of the committee, complained about the way it was operated, saying that he continues to complain about the ruling party's remarks.

Then, Chairman Chung refuted that floor leader Choo Kyung-ho had interfered in internal affairs, mentioning that floor leader Choo Kyung-ho previously said he would file a complaint against Chairman Choi Min-hee, saying, "Why are you leaving me out?"

In the Judiciary Committee, opposition lawmakers called for submitting data by indirectly mentioning the "Suspicious Prosecutor's Office Fecal Suspicion," which was one of the reasons for prosecutor Park Sang-yong's impeachment, which was proposed by the impeachment motion.

In response, Joo Jin-woo, a member of the People's Power, said, "Is that something to be discussed in-depth by the Judiciary Committee?" and protested that the Democratic Party was unreasonably pressuring and attacking prosecutor Park, who investigated former Vice Governor Lee Hwa-young's alleged remittance to North Korea.

Kim Kwang-dong, chairman of the Truth and Reconciliation Committee, who claimed that there was no North Korean military intervention in the May 18 pro-democracy movement, has repeatedly been criticized by the opposition party for refusing to budge.

Chairman Shin Jung-hoon, a member of the opposition party, even shouted at the National Assembly, the media, and the public, saying, "Are you kidding me?"

So far, I've delivered it to you by the National Assembly.
