Ukra "North Korean troops are expected to be deployed to combat zones from 27th to 28th"

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said he expects North Korean troops sent to Russia to be deployed to combat zones as early as 27-28.

President Zelenskyy said on social media on the 25th local time that he had received such a report from Oleksandr Sirsky, commander of the Ukrainian military, regarding the dispatch of North Korean troops.

At the same time, he called on the West to put real pressure on Russia and North Korea, saying this was a clear escalation.

Earlier, Ukraine's Ministry of Defense Intelligence said North Korean troops were seen on the 23rd in Kursk, mainland Russia, where its forces are operating.

Ukrainian authorities claim that more than 12,000 North Korean soldiers, including three generals and 500 officers, have been sent to Russia.

Separately, Ukrainian prosecutors say they have launched their own investigation into alleged aggression crimes in connection with the deployment of North Korean troops.

Ukrainian prosecutors are collecting evidence, saying that weapons supply, Russian military training and organizational support, and direct participation in hostilities are included in the criminal charges, foreign media said.
