Israeli airstrikes have made it difficult for Iran to export ballistic missiles to Russia for the time being, and analysts say the period will be as short as several months or as long as two years.

"It will take a long time for Iran to be able to export its ballistic missiles to Russia," the British daily The Times said on the 27th local time, according to an unnamed source of information.

"Israel's intention to attack this time was to undermine Iran's missile attack capability, but a side effect is also detected in Ukraine, which is at war with Russia," The Times said.

Israel's attack destroyed equipment Iran has used to make solid fuel for ballistic missiles, forcing it to ask China and other countries for help, and it could take months to restore production capacity.

It is observed that if Iran's missile supply decreases, the arms trade between Russia and North Korea could be affected in some way.

Iran claims it provided Russia with drones and shells after the outbreak of the war in Ukraine but did not provide ballistic missiles, but U.S. and British authorities believe Iran supplied missiles to Russia.
