One of the key phrases of the Sonja 己, "殆 彼," means that if you know yourself and know your enemy, you will not be in danger even if you fight 100 times. This phrase can also be applied to modern corporate management, and it is a very important task to analyze competitors and industry trends. However, HYBE's internal document 'Hive Music Industry Report', which was recently released at the parliamentary audit, exceeded the line of analysis of such competitors.

In a comprehensive audit of the state affairs of the National Assembly's Culture, Sports and Tourism Committee on the 24th, Min Hyung-bae of the Democratic Party of Korea released part of the contents of the "Hive Music Industry Report," a document for reading Hive executives, and pointed out problems.

In this document, Hive's competitors SM, YG, and JYP's appearance reviews and music are harshly criticized, while evaluating idols from small and medium-sized agencies.

Among them were evaluating the new girl group being prepared by the competitor as "surprisingly ugly," and disparaging the performance of a girl group from a certain agency as "university club level."

In addition, it raised eyebrows with a sentence of nuance that sarcastically called a donation of a celebrity to an abandoned animal group "a Twitter-friendly choice" and rumors of an internal dispute regarding the withdrawal of a member of the group.

In response, Hive was criticized by the National Assembly for saying, "The document was leaked to the outside world" during the parliamentary audit, and later began to deal with it, saying, "It is only the personal opinion of the employee in charge, but it is not the official position of the company."

The bigger problem is that the document was not an anonymous community post for office workers, but a report for 'executive access'. Hive advocates a multi-label system with multiple labels, but in fact, important decisions are made at executive meetings. It is already widely known in the industry that many employees leave the Hive disappointed by this rigid decision-making structure and low autonomy.

In this respect, it is a good idea to write a document that is packaged under the plausible name of the "Music Industry Report" but contains surprisingly inappropriate content, and that it has been seriously viewed and kept by executives who are the top decision-makers.

In response, a K-pop official said, "I haven't heard of writing a document of that type, even if I think about my past experience working at an agency that is about the size of a company. "It's the first time such a case has been made," he said, adding, "If a new song is released or a rookie debuts, public opinion does not document it even though it is this level of oral report."

Already, Hive has been at odds with Min Hee-jin and New Jeans and has lost the trust of the idol fandom. Some even have a very dangerous voice saying, "I like artists, but I can't like them because they belong to Hive."

Is it time for Hive to go through all kinds of communities, like Dish Inside and Douku, to fault artists from other companies? I feel like I'm hearing a word from somewhere, "You're good at it" in the movie "Kind Geum-ja."
