The price of a cabbage is in the 6,000 won range...34% year-on-year ↑

The price of cabbage, which was close to 10,000 won per head, has recently fallen to the 6,000 won range after turning downward.

According to the price information site of the Korea Agro-Fisheries & Food Trade Corporation today (28th), the retail price of a cabbage was 6,847 won, down 240 won from the previous survey.

However, compared to last year, it was 34% higher than the average price.

In the case of radish, the same kimchi vegetable, it was counted as 3,550 won, which was slightly lower, but it is a 64% increase compared to the previous year.

Meanwhile, the government plans to continue discount support events along with a policy to expand supply to stabilize prices of kimchi-making vegetables.
