Arrested Man in His 40s Struck Bystanders While Drunk

Police have arrested a man in his 40s for beating and misbehaving people on the street while drinking.

The Seobu Police Station in Seoul arrested a man in his 40s yesterday (27th) on charges of assault and other charges.

A is accused of chasing and assaulting a woman who was on the street in Eunpyeong-gu, Seoul at around 9:20 last night (27th), and hitting another man who was stopping her.

A was found to have gone on a rampage while being arrested by the police.

The police believe that A committed the crime after drinking while hiking, and plan to continue the investigation without detention.
