North Korean troops sent to Russia have already begun operations inside Ukraine, according to reports.
If true, the U.S. is reportedly asking China to intervene in the withdrawal of the North Korean military.

Yes, CNN in the U.S., citing multiple Western intelligence officials, reported that some of the North Korean military had already entered Ukraine.CNN reported that an official at
said that many North Korean troops appear to have already begun operations.
Officials also say the size of the military will increase if the North Korean military moves to the front line after training in eastern Russia.
The South Korean and U.S. authorities believe that the number of North Korean troops will reach 10,000 by the end of the year.
Until now, the general observation was that the North Korean military would be deployed to the Kursk region, a Russian-occupied territory in Ukraine.
CNN pointed out that the North Korean military's presence inside Ukraine is a step further from this evaluation.
However, the U.S. Department of Defense has drawn a line that there is no information yet available to verify this information.
Ukraine will draft 160,000 more troops over the next three months, as Russia uses its military to make up for its shortfall.
The U.S. government is reportedly asking the Chinese government to pressure North Korea to withdraw its troops.
To move China, the U.S. has asked other countries to try to persuade China, and U.S. government officials say National Security Adviser Jake Sullivan recently gave instructions to authorities concerned.
State Department spokesman Matthew Miller said he had clearly communicated U.S. concerns about North Korea's dispatch to China, stressing that neighboring China should also be concerned about Russia's and North Korea's actions.
