Public officials injured during dangerous duties can take up to eight years off.

The law will be revised to allow public officials who have acquired or injured diseases while performing dangerous duties such as saving lives at disaster and disaster sites to take a leave of absence for up to eight years.

The Ministry of Personnel Management announced that it would announce legislation of an amendment to the National Public Officials Act, which includes increasing the period of leave of absence for official diseases, which is currently up to five years.

The amendment also included extending the period of leave of absence from training from two years to four years in line with the duration of the degree course, as an exception for the first degree acquisition of a public official without a bachelor's degree.
