Lee Jae-myung, chairman of the Democratic Party of Korea, visited the border area of Incheon to check the security situation and listen to the situation of residents affected by noise from South Korean broadcasting.
Lee attended a meeting of the victims at Dangsan-ri Village Hall in Ganghwa-gun, Incheon, stressing that the best way is to stay peaceful by creating a state where there is no need to fight.
Lee, who visited a military unit in Incheon, said, "There have been stories of difficulties in alert operations due to lack of military resources," adding, "Our military will not be able to avoid the path of science and regularization in the future."
