The presidential office said it was inappropriate for Han Dong-hoon, the leader of the People's Power, to announce this through the media the day before when he suggested President Yoon Suk Yeol to attend a speech at the National Assembly.
In a phone call with YTN, an official from the president's office said that Han's suggestion is known through the media, making President Yoon an image of communication, and said, "I don't know if it's appropriate and I'm sorry."
Presidential Chief of Staff Jeong Jin-seok then pointed out that it is more appropriate to say that the normalization of the National Assembly comes first as the ruling party leader as the opposition party takes to the streets and insists on impeaching the president.
