The People's Power Media Special Committee urged the overseas-based knowledge information site "Namuwiki" to apply regulations under domestic law.

The special committee said in a statement that police are investigating another community site run by Namuwiki operator "Umanle" after a controversy over the distribution of sexual exploitation.

"As long as we operate a public information platform, we must take ethical and legal responsibility accordingly, but the operator cannot be held accountable under domestic law because it is headquartered in Paraguay," he said, stressing that the ruling and opposition parties should pass the amendment together to strengthen related systems.
