Incheon City plans to start construction of a four-story, 4,000-square-meter integrated veterans center in Ganseok-dong, Namdong-gu, in June next year, with the goal of completing 12 veterans organizations in the region in June 2026.
The integrated hall, which will be a five-minute drive from the existing Ganseok-dong Veterans Hall, will have offices, multipurpose rooms, and conference rooms for veterans, and 12 veterans organizations will move in except for the Incheon Veterans Association, which has its own building.
The existing Veterans Hall, which has been 36 years since its completion, is old and narrow, and out of 13 veterans organizations in Incheon, only the Sangsang County Association, the Jeonmol County Patriots' Association, and the Jeonmol County Women's Association are located, while the remaining 10 veterans organizations are scattered in public and rental buildings, respectively.
