Prosecutors investigating former President Moon Jae In's wife and First Lady Kim Jung-sook's alleged business trip to the Taj Mahal, India, also summoned the Korean ambassador.

The Seoul Central District Prosecutors' Office is investigating former Ambassador Shin Bong-gil today (6th).

Prosecutors are reportedly looking into how Kim visited India alone against former Ambassador Shin.Mrs.

Kim visited the Taj Mahal in India alone in November 2018, and politicians suspected that she had traveled abroad with taxes.

Lee Jong-bae, a Seoul Metropolitan Council member, filed a complaint in December last year on charges of loss of state funds and abuse of authority, claiming that Kim actually set aside 400 million won in reserve funds for the purpose of traveling to India.
