A man in his 40s accused of prostitution of a teenager with acquired immunodeficiency syndrome (AIDS) claimed in his first trial that "there is low concern about spreading AIDS."

The 11th Criminal Division of the Gwangju District Court (Judge Ko Sang-young) held the first trial of A (49) who was handed over to trial on charges of agenda rape of minors today (6th).

Mr. A was charged with prostitution several times by calling out a middle school girl who he knew through a chat app.

It was investigated that A, a professional worker, had been committing crimes against adolescents in 2006 while hiding that he was being treated for acquired immunodeficiency syndrome (AIDS).

The fact that A was infected with AIDS was revealed when the police found antiviral drugs for AIDS treatment in the vehicle after demanding "bring high blood pressure and diabetes drugs" while under investigation.

It is known that B is not contagious.

A, who admitted all the charges at the trial, said, "I'm taking drugs and using condoms during sex, so there's a low risk of infection," when asked by the judge, "If we have sex relationships, there's a high possibility of spreading AIDS."

It is reported that A also had a history of being punished for violating the Youth Sex Protection Act in 2011.
