A deer that attacked and injured two citizens in Gwanggyo, Suwon-si, Gyeonggi-do was captured.
Suwon-si, Gyeonggi-do, said it captured the deer alive using an anesthetic gun around a restaurant in Hagwanggyo-dong, Jangan-gu, at around 9 a.m. today (9th).
Suwon-si explained that a professional rescue team had been hiding since around 10 p.m. last night (8th) and found a deer alive.
Earlier, a man in his 40s was stabbed by a deer horn at Gwanggyo Lake Park at around 1 a.m. on the 6th, and about four hours later, a woman in her 60s was attacked by a deer on the Gwanggyo Reservoir promenade about 6km away.
As a result, the city formed a comprehensive situation team involving police and firefighters and began capturing deer.
The general situation team estimates that wild deer are extinct, so the deer that appeared this time are abandoned or lost.
Suwon City plans to temporarily store deer at a nearby deer farm and proceed with the process of adopting abandoned animals if the owner does not appear.
