The Korean Medical Association impeached Chairman Lim Hyun-taek as required by a group of medical doctors and medical students.

Now, we are interested in whether the new leadership will be able to persuade those who will not budge to open the door to resolving the legislative conflict that has been going on for 10 months and resume dialogue with the government.

Reporter Kwon Min-seok's report.

On the 7th, CEO Park Dan and 90 other majors publicly asked the Medical Association to impeach Chairman Lim Hyun-taek.

With the new chairman, who can understand and communicate, I urged the medical doctors to cooperate with the medical association.

The next day, a group of medical students also said they could not trust Chairman Lim and hoped the no-confidence bill would be passed.

As the medical association's representative council impeached Chairman Lim with overwhelming approval, it seemed to have responded to the demand for medical and medical students.

Representative Park Dan also expressed his welcome by sharing related articles on social media immediately after the impeachment decision.

[Park Dan / Emergency Response Committee Chairman of the Korean Council of Major: I think it's a must-have decision. We will discuss what to do in the future.]

Inside and outside the medical community, many expect a breakthrough in legislative confrontation, such as restoring communication channels for medical and medical students through new leadership.

[Kim Kyo-woong / Chairman of the Korean Medical Association: I think it would be helpful to have a lot of doctors in the emergency committee. If you go in, their opinions will be communicated, so as I said now, the emergency committee chairman may not decide everything or anything like this..]

In particular, attention is being paid to whether or not to participate in the "Youth-South Korean Council Council," which will be launched in the form of an open-door development.

Until now, only the Korean Medical Association and the Medical and Medical Association have attended, and the Medical Association, the only legal doctors' association, has declared its absence, so there is a high concern that it will be only half-discussed.

Although prudence prevails to expect dramatic changes in doctors and medical students right now,

If the new leadership goes to the dialogue table with them through improved relations, we can somehow find a solution.

However, there is still a large gap between the medical community's position to completely abolish next year's medical school quota and the government's adherence to the inability to readjust.

For this reason, there are also voices that the government should show a forward-looking attitude change first, apart from medical efforts.
