The fireworks show was delayed for about 10 minutes to turn on the Gwangan Bridge lights again, but it could not be restored and eventually the Gwangan Bridge lights, which were supposed to be produced with the flames, were turned off and the fireworks show lasted for about an hour.

The organizing committee said, "I controlled the situation room, but it suddenly stormed right after the countdown," adding, "From next year, we will build a spare facility so that we can flexibly cope with unexpected situations."
