In the budget review session of the National Assembly's Special Committee on Budget and Accounts against non-economic ministries, the ruling and opposition parties argued over the controversy that President Yoon Suk Yeol recently played golf one after another.
The opposition party said it received multiple reports that President Yoon played golf at least seven times from August until the 9th, two days after the public statement, and argued that the president's explanation that he resumed golf practice because of U.S. President-elect Trump is false.
In response, the People's Power countered that President Yoon did not enjoy golf, but made thorough preparations to communicate with President-elect Trump, adding that it is only a political offensive to hold back on such issues.
