The suspect who killed a man in his 40s who was reported missing in Seosan, Chungcheongnam-do, has been arrested by the police.

He stated that he committed the crime due to difficulties in living due to gambling debts, but police are investigating whether he committed additional crimes.

The burned vehicle was a car of a driver in his 40s who was reported missing by the police on the 9th.

However, the driver was not found at the scene of the fire, but was found stabbed to death in a nearby area.

A is accused of breaking into a car near a restaurant parking lot in Dongmun-dong, Seosan-si on the afternoon of the 8th and stabbing the victim to death.

Mr. A, who stole about 100,000 won from the victim's wallet, left the scene with the victim's car.

After that, he abandoned the victim's cell phone, abandoned the victim's body, and set the vehicle on fire in a nearby vacant lot.

It took only about 30 minutes for A to kill a victim who he had never met before to set fire to the car.

In particular, A was found to have prepared a weapon in advance and then walked around the restaurant and searched for owners of expensive cars.

In a police investigation, A stated that he committed the crime to earn living expenses because he had no money due to gambling debt.
