Wildfire fire near Magoksa Temple in Gongju, Chungcheongnam-do...There's no building that's burned down.

A fire broke out at 7:40 p.m. today (12th) in the hills around Magoksa Temple in Sagok-myeon, Gongju-si, Chungcheongnam-do.

No one was injured, and only part of the forest burned, causing no damage to Magoksa Temple, a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

Forest authorities plan to investigate the exact cause of the fire after completing the cleanup of the residual fire.
