Trump's 'mouthed money' guilty verdict delayed by a week

U.S. President-elect Donald Trump's sex scandal A court in the money-paying case has decided to delay a week of its decision on whether to overturn, maintain or sentence an earlier guilty verdict.

Judge Juan Merchant of Manhattan Criminal Court in New York said he would hold off on the decision until the 19th at Trump's lawyer's request to invalidate the guilty verdict in the sex scandal gag payment case.

Trump's side asked in July to overturn the conviction of the gag money trial, as the Supreme Court decided that public conduct during the presidency was exempt from criminal prosecution even after leaving office.

The Manhattan district attorney, who prosecuted Trump, also asked for the decision to be put on hold until the 19th for legal review of changes in the situation after the presidential election, and the trial was suspended after Judge Merchant accepted it.

Judge Merchant was originally scheduled to make a judgment today on Trump's request to overturn the conviction and sentence him on the 26th, but it became unclear whether the sentence would be sentenced or not, as well as a delay in the schedule.
