Bitcoin, the cryptocurrency leader, crossed the $90,000 mark for the first time in history amid the rise of cryptocurrencies and New York stocks following the "Trump Rally," or Trump's presidential victory.

Bitcoin, which soared due to the election of former President Donald Trump in the U.S. presidential election, briefly slowed down and then rose again to break the $90,000 mark.

As of 3:55 p.m. ET on the U.S. cryptocurrency exchange Coinbase, the price per unit of Bitcoin was trading at $9045.35, up 3.4% from 24 hours ago.

Bitcoin, which had previously risen to a new record high since former President Trump's election on the 5th, jumped to the $89,900 level.

Bitcoin, which was below $70,000 on the morning of the 5th of the U.S. presidential election, surged 30% after breaking its all-time high since Trump's election, and is expected to reach $100,000 soon.
