Yang Min-hyuk, a high school student striker in Gangwon-do, has been selected as the fifth K-League's "Young Player of the Month."

Yang Min-hyuk scored one goal and one assist in the 33rd round match against Incheon to lead his team to a 3-1 victory, and he also scored the winning goal in the match against Gimcheon to help his team win.

Yang Min-hyuk played full-time in all games last month, and during that period, Gangwon won three consecutive games.

Yang Min-hyuk, who was born in 2006, made his K-League debut as a semi-professional contract player this season and converted to an official professional player in June, and broke all the club's youngest records, including participation, scoring, and attacking points this season.

From April to July of this year, he won the Player of the Month Award for four consecutive months, and this time, he won the most awards.

The Young Player of the Month Award will be given to Korean K-League 1 players under the age of 23, less than three years from the year they recorded their first official K-League match.
