'50-50' Ohtani, '58 Home Runs' Judge, Silver Slugger Awarded

LA Dodgers' Shohei Ohtani, who rewrote major league history with 50 home runs and 50 steals, won the Silver Slugger given to the best hitter in each position.

Ohtani appeared in 159 regular league games with 54 home runs and 130 RBIs, the most in the National League, and ranked first in on-base percentage and slugging percentage.

This is the third time Ohtani has received a silver slugger.

Aaron Judge, the home run king who hit 58 home runs in the American League, was also named a silver slugger in the outfield category.
