Tesla Inc TSLA CEO Elon Musk is participating in a series of phone calls between U.S. President-elect Donald Trump and heads of state.
Bloomberg reported that Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic said Musk also participated when he spoke to Trump on the phone on the 10th local time.
Musk was also with Trump when he spoke with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky on the 6th, and reportedly took over the phone and spoke directly with Zelensky.
However, there are concerns that it could be problematic for Musk, who is currently a businessman, to participate in talks between leaders, where even sensitive issues are discussed regarding various areas such as national security and the economy.
In fact, Serbia has Europe's largest lithium reserves used in batteries for electric vehicles, and Musk, who runs Tesla, points out that he cannot be free from interests.
Musk is also likely to join a meeting between Argentine President Javier Milay and President-elect Trump, who is scheduled to visit Mar-a-Lago, Florida, on the 14th.
