[Site Y] "No retirement performance, 20 more years..." Lee Moon-se, New Start of Passion
Singer Lee Moon-se returned with a new song, burning his will to work for the next 20 years.

A press conference on Lee Moon-se's 17th full-length album was held at Stanford Hotel Korea in Sangam-dong, Mapo-gu, Seoul on the afternoon of the 13th.

Since "Warm Is Better Than Hot" in December last year, Lee Moon-se has released songs from his 17th full-length album sequentially. This time, it will release "Love in Farewell" and "My Blues" as pre-release songs.

Among them, "My Blues," written and composed by Lee Moon-se, contains his thoughts on living as a singer for a long time. Lee Moon-se explained the message in the song, "I usually say, 'Let's play well and have a good time,' and added, "It may be an encouraging message to young people, 'I'm living like this, so live well while preparing for the future.'

Lee Moon-se then said, "There have been ups and downs, but I think I have been able to hold the microphone until now because I have not been turned away," adding, "The driving force behind the applause by holding the microphone is thanks to gaining energy from albums and performances."

As for the secret to maintaining a clear sensibility as a singer, he cited not doing business activities other than music. "I think that a musician should live a simple life," he said. "Living while simplifying is the power that has supported me so far."

Lee Moon-se also honestly talked about his senior singers' thoughts on retirement. In particular, referring to his senior Cho Yong-pil, he said, "I hope you don't perform retirement. He said, "He is the most beautiful and respectful person standing on the stage."

At the same time, he also vowed to "not perform retirement." "I intend to be active for another 20 years," he said, adding, "I don't think there can be a departure for a singer. If you can't walk out, even if you're in a wheelchair, or if there's one audience member who applauds you even if you're not singing, I think you're destined to grab a microphone for him," he added.

In the future, Lee Moon-se plans to continue his series performance "Theater Lee Moon-se" and radio appearances, and focus on completing his 17th full-length album. The 17th album is still incomplete, and there are no specific plans to complete it.

Lee Moon-se said about the process, "I made good music that has been given, and the process accumulated one by one, and I published up to the 16th album. The same is true this time. "I think we need to stack them one by one to complete our 17th album, so that we can produce a complete album," he explained calmly.

"I don't think releasing a new album necessarily requires any deadline," he said. "I'll do my best to work on the music."
