A commemorative event was held at COEX in Seoul to share the achievements of Korea's culture and arts education and seek new policy directions.
Hosted by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism and the Korea Culture and Arts Education Promotion Agency, the event has a forum to find out domestic and foreign culture and arts education cases, policy discussions to explore new directions, and academic seminars by related academic societies.
In addition, there will be awards for culture and arts education merit, sit-down meetings for cooperation with local experts, and performances by Dream Art Troupe made up of teenagers who participated in the education.
More than 2,000 domestic and foreign experts, including culture and arts education experts and field directors, students participating in the event, and Emily Lim, director of the British National Theater, will participate in the event.
