The haenyeo who used to work in Seogwipo, Jeju, dies.

A report was received by the fire department that A, a haenyeo in her 70s who was doing substances on the beach in Bomok-dong, Seogwipo-si, Jeju, was not seen at around 5 p.m. today (13th).

The Coast Guard and the fire authorities found Mr. A in cardiac arrest near Seogwipo Port in about 30 minutes and took him to a hospital, but he died.

The Coast Guard is investigating the exact circumstances of the accident.
