U.S. President-elect Donald Trump met with President Joe Biden at the White House in Washington, D.C., on the 13th local time to discuss ways to take over the regime.
Trump, who visited the Oval Office, the White House's presidential office, three years and 10 months after leaving office in 2021, met with Biden and shook hands before continuing the conversation.
After congratulating Trump on his victory in the presidential election, Biden said he expected a smooth transition of power and would do his best to help, and that he would have the opportunity to talk about some of it today.
"Politics is difficult, and in many cases there are not only good days, but today is a good day," Trump said, adding that he was grateful that the transition to the regime was very smooth and that it would go as smoothly as possible.
The meeting between the two took place four years ago in 2020, when then-President Trump did not accept the results of the presidential election, according to the tradition of the U.S. White House.
President Biden's wife, Jill, also invited Trump's wife, Melania, to the White House, but did not attend, citing a prior engagement.
