Actor Joo Min-kyung will appear on Netflix's "Trunk."
Today (14th), the agency Story J Company said, "Jo Min-kyung was cast in the Netflix original 'Trunk' (directed by Kim Kyu-tae, scripted by Park Eun-young, production project 318, G-Tist). Please look forward to Joo Min-kyung, who will work with Seo Hyun-jin and Gong Yoo and perform enthusiastically," he said.
{Trunk} is a mystery melodrama about a secret marriage service that has begun to be revealed by a trunk floating on the lake and the strange marriage story of two men and women in it.
In the play, Joo Min-kyung plays Yoon-ah, the wife of Hyun-chul (Hong Woo-jin), the president of the label to which music producer Jung Won (played by Gong Yoo) belongs. Yoona had a stable and normal family with her husband and two children, but she is actually a person with deep emptiness and repression inside. Joo Min-kyung will delicately portray Yoona's complex emotions and increase the play's immersion.
Earlier, Joo Min-kyung has solidly built up filmography through a number of works such as tvN's "Because I Don't Want to See Damage," JTBC's "Hip," JTBC's "Green Mothers Club," SBS' "Jiri Mountain," and MBC's "Spring Night." Not only did he capture the public with his captivating performance in each work, but he also showed a variety of appearances with his outstanding character digestibility.
Trunk, starring Joo Min-kyung, Seo Hyun-jin, and Gong Yoo, will be released on Netflix on the 29th.
