The standard market price for officetels is likely to fall by 0.3% next year...the second consecutive year of decline

The standard market price of officetels is expected to fall 0.3% next year and commercial buildings will rise 0.5%.

The National Tax Service said next year's standard market price will be released to receive opinions from owners and stakeholders before the notice.Subject to the

examination are officetels and commercial buildings divided into 3,000㎡ or more than 100 units in the metropolitan area, five metropolitan cities, and Sejong Special Self-Governing City.

According to next year's benchmark market price, officetels are down 0.31% from this year, marking the second consecutive year of decline.

Commercial buildings were expected to be up 0.51% from this year.

If you have any objections to the base market price, you can comment online or by mail and visit to your local tax office by the 4th of next month.

The base market price is used when the inheritance/gift tax and capital gains tax are not known.
