Apartment prices nationwide, which have been on the rise since late June, have turned flat for the first time in 22 weeks.
Apartment prices nationwide this week, announced by the Korea Real Estate Agency today, rose to 0.00% in the third week of June and then turned flat again in 22 weeks.
Apartment prices in Seoul continued to rise for 34 consecutive weeks, but the increase fell for four consecutive weeks, only 0.06%.
Apartment prices in the Seoul metropolitan area also saw their gains fall to 0.03%, while those in the provinces grew to 0.03% this week from 0.02% last week.
Jeonse prices for apartments in Seoul recorded a 78th consecutive week of gains, which also shrank for the fourth week to only 0.05%.
Rental prices for apartments in the Seoul metropolitan area rose 0.07% and provinces rose 0.01%, the same rate as last week for the nation.
