[Seoul] Seoul DMC/Search Station Promotes 'Cultural and Commercial Center' in the Northwest Region

Susaek Station in Eunpyeong-gu, Seoul and Digital Media City Station in Sangam-dong will be reborn as a metropolitan center in the northwest of Seoul.

The Seoul Metropolitan Government announced that it has revised and approved the "search, district unit planning areas and planning decisions around DMC stations" at the Joint Committee on Urban Architecture.

The district unit plan includes laying the foundation for the supply of work and commercial facilities and expanding infrastructure such as wide pedestrian bridges and underground connections to connect areas cut off by rail facilities.

It also plans to introduce culture, conventions, and accommodation facilities using K-cultural contents to the south of the search station, and establish a performance culture support center and an international exchange center to utilize them as the center of complex cultural tourism.
